We have seven classrooms that serves children from 10 weeks up to 6 years, as well as a summer program that serves children up to 10 years of age.
We are looking for an additional aides and assistant teachers to help in one or more classrooms.
Candidates should have flexibility with scheduling and which ages they work with.
All candidates must have or be willing to obtain PA clearances required to work with children - State Police, Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting, and NSOR.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment.
Advancing physical and intellectual competence in children.
Supporting social and emotional development and to provide positive guidance.
Establish positive and productive relationships with families and coworkers.
Ensuring a well run, purposeful program responsive to participant needs.
Maintaining a commitment to professionalism.
Planning and preparing students for special programs and events at TLC.
Engaging in respectful use and care of space and school equipment.
Participating in recommended training programs, conferences and other aspects of professional development.
