Summary:
Registers voters and maintains all voter registration records.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND
Responsibilities:
Maintains all registration records including adding new voters, deleting voters and updating records (i.
e.
, party, name or address change).
Operates office equipment as required including, but not limited to, computer, binding machine, photocopier, telephone, fax and scanner.
Prepares material for delivery to polling locations.
Overtime may be required.
Reports unusual conditions or questionable items to supervisor.
Ability to work effectively with the public, employees and other offices.
Assists customers and candidates, of which professional dress attire is required.
Employees may be required to perform additional work that follows prescribed or well-established procedures that can be learned within a reasonable time by training on the job.
More detailed instructions will be given to employees at the beginning of work.
Utilize the State SURE system to process voter registrations, applications and other election related matters.
Other tasks as assigned QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
