8K a year 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago We are seeking a full-time Insurance Defense Paralegal for our well-established, Upper Bucks County general practice law firm specializing in insurance defense.
Responsibilities:
Investigation and analysis of all aspects of discovery; Obtaining, assessing and summarizing medical records; Propounding discovery requests and preparing discovery responses; Preparation of relevant Pleadings and Motions; File assessment, valuation and recommendation; Selecting, extracting, organizing, assembling and producing legal and other documents for use by attorneys; Preparation of exhibits and assistance at Trial; and Timekeeping and maintaining billable time.
Qualifications:
Experience with time keeping and billable time requirements; A minimum of 3 years Paralegal experience, preferably with insurance defense cases; Understanding of Court rules and procedures; Familiarity with file Clio case management software; Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize to meet deadlines; and Driven and willing to learn.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
