They use cleaning chemicals to maintain equipment and other supplies while dusting, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning restrooms and common areas.
Minimal maintenance is also the custodian's responsibility as outlined in the essential functions.

Cleaning Interior and Exterior of the Building to include, but not limited to; Internal:
Common Areas, Entranceways, Lobby, Hallways, Lounge, Gym, Lobby, Mail Room, Elevators, Compactor Room, Windows, Doors and Floors.
External:
Windows, Doors, Dog Waste Station, Parking Lots and other common areas General Landscaping, Mowing in the Summer, Snow removal, de-ice of sidewalks and exterior walkways when needed in the winter Removing garbage from common areas and moving trash bins 3 times per week Maintenance of walls and common areas, by touching up paint when needed, changing light bulbs, maintaining exit sign lights, and changing air filters Troubleshooting of COMLIT and Package Concierge Area Trash Chute/Compactor maintenance, ensuring that the restarts and swap outs are consistent Maintaining the supplies for use of all of the cleaning and maintenance outlined above, ensuring that all are stored and kept clean and neatly organized Provides Emergency Exit Logs and Provides Access and Support to Third Party Vendors when needed Competencies Organized Self-directed Time Management Supervisory responsibilitiesNone Work Environment Rental properties/apartments - sometimes vacant/sometimes tenant occupied Apartment complex common areas Often exposed to weather due to maintenance of interior and exterior of dwellings Warehouse setting often Office setting occasionally Physical demands Prolonged periods standing and walking, kneeling, crawling, climbing and balancing.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times/100 pounds team lift occasionally.
Must be able to carry tools and equipment up and down stairs.
Must be able to climb ladders and balance on scaffolding Must be able to traverse a variety of properties in a variety of weather.
Travel requiredDriving a vehicle to and from various rental properties daily.
Required education and experience High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license along with a dependable vehicle and clean driving record Experience with Smartphone and applications Ability to follow directions and propensity to learn Must have your own tools for the job (basic hand tools required) Must be able to use basic hand tools as well as power tools Must be able to communicate effectively in English for business purposes Preferred education and experience Previous job
Experience:
Property Maintenance, Contractors, Construction Workers, Hotel Maintenance etc.
At least two years of related experience is preferred.
